Leadership Spotlight: Cayce Becker

This week's leadership spotlight highlights, a first-year Leadership Fellow and Community Engagement Intern at CFL. Cayce is majoring in Public Health and minoring in Leadership Studies, Health Communication, and Business Administration.

As a Community Engagement Intern, Cayce aims to build strong connections with students and advisors of AYLA chapters and ensure the program's offerings meet the needs and expectations of participants. Cayce is involved in many other school organizations. She participated in Mock Trial and the Student Government Association as an Assistant Comptroller to the Vice President of Finance.

She strongly believes in servant leadership, where leaders prioritize working with others for the greater good. As a leader, Cayce wants to improve the communities she lives in and create lasting, positive change that can be sustained beyond her specific time.

Cayce's favorite leader is her 3rd-grade teacher. This teacher always entered the classroom with love and excitement, making it a safe space for learning. The teacher provided grace for the class while pushing them to learn and treat others with kindness. Cayce truly developed a love for learning because of this teacher and hopes to be as impactful as this leader.
